I spent over seven years as an award-winning corporate Sales Director, scaling teams and taking global technology brands to market. Then I left, and wrote the book I'd needed my whole life.
How to Love Your Afro was published by Bloomsbury, has sold over six thousand copies worldwide and has been featured in British Vogue and Elle UK. Around it I built Team Texture, which reached 7,500 customers in under two years with no investors and no paid marketing. Texture Talks became the UK's most prominent podcast for the Afro and curly hair community. And when every production house turned down the animated adaptation, I made it myself over a single weekend — it has since passed 1.8 million views.
Today I'm building STRAND, a hair health platform, advising publishers on reaching audiences traditional book marketing never finds, and teaching founders how to sell through Lewin Consulting. I've been flown to Nigeria by L'Oréal Professionnel Paris, and named one of the top 25 entrepreneurs for Black Business Week and one of HSBC's Black Entrepreneurs to Watch.

I didn't leave the boardroom behind. I took what it taught me — pipeline, positioning, how to read a room, how to ask for the thing you actually want — and pointed all of it at something that mattered to me. The drive didn't disappear when the salary did. It became the engine.

Most of my work starts in the same place: a conversation people are having quietly and nobody is having publicly. Hair. Race. Mental health. What it costs to take up space. I would rather open that conversation imperfectly than leave it closed.

Everything I've built is something I needed and couldn't find. A book, a brand, a podcast, an app, a film. None of it waited for permission, and none of it was handed over by an industry that had already said no.
Half a million followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube — and millions of views on conversations most brands avoid.
Published by Bloomsbury. Over six thousand copies sold worldwide. Trichology, psychology and identity woven into a guide that goes far beyond hair — endorsed by Tabitha Brown, and called a mindset shift rather than a hair manual by Zeze Millz.
Every production house turned the concept down. I made the pilot myself over a single weekend — it did 433,000 views, 30,000 likes and 5,700 shares.

Hair has never been treated as something with a history, a set of measurable markers and a real response to what goes on it and what happens inside the body. It is now.
The tools I couldn't buy, so I built them — starting with the TT Heat Hat. 7,500 customers in under two years, with no investors, no paid marketing and nobody's permission.

L'Oréal Professionnel Paris flew me to Nigeria to talk to Black women about the science of textured hair, self-worth and identity. I speak to boardrooms, festivals, publishers and beauty brands — and never the version where everyone nods and nothing changes.
Pipeline architecture, cold outreach and commercial thinking for founders, creators and community builders — learned running seven-figure targets for global tech brands, not from a course.
Book signings, live events, panels and new episodes — announced here first, before anywhere else.
Speaking enquiries, brand partnerships, press, or sales training — all to the same place.
